Evaluation Tool DEvelopment
Comprehensive research tool design to allow the team to collect rich pre and post data from program participants
The Institute for Science and Policy needed quality metrics they could report back to their funder after the pilot year of the STPP. I designed three qualitative tools: pre implementation interview guides to be used with each stakeholder group, and four quantitative tools: pre and post surveys to measure perceived growth and knowledge gain throughout the program. Using these instruments, the ISP team was able to gather robust data from the first year of the program, and demonstrate measurable impact. Data collected through these tools was used to satisfy funding requirements and create narrative pieces about the pilot program.

Full-service Evaluation
Nature Play Evaluation
Custom designed research tools, data collection, analysis and reporting on the DMNS featured area: Nature Play
In anticipation of the opening of the Nature Play play area outside of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, I was tasked with designing a full service evaluation of the space. The aim of the research was to measure against the previously defined goals for the space, track visitor experience, and create metrics for funder reporting. Using systematic surveying and counting, I was able to collect over 2,000 data points, analyze the data for key trends, and produce a robust internal report. Metrics from this reporting have also been used in the organization's annual report and funder specific documents.

Data Analysis & Reporting
Community Resources Mapping
An custom created Google Map used to track data across multiple organizations, displaying real-time information for service providers.
While working as a case manager at a nonprofit, I was asked to develop a data visual to capture the many resources the existed in the DC area. Using the many data sources from multiple organizations, I created a custom Google Map that reflected the shelters, food offerings, hotspots, and other need-to-know areas, that could be quickly accessed on the go by case managers, allowing them to identify the best resource to connect unhoused residents to in the area. The intention was to create something practical and consolidated, the result was an integrated product that de-duplicated services and increased capacity. The map was adapted across five nonprofits and continues to be used to this day.

1. The map allows you to sort by different service offerings, showing shelters, drop-in centers, and other resources by region.
2. Users can click on the live icons for each resource and quickly access contact information and notes from other case managers.
Outside the Hospital Walls
FULL-SERVICE EVALUATION
A multiyear research project evaluating how essential hospitals move toward community-integrated health care.
As lead researcher and author, I designed the evaluation tools, managed data collection, and authored the full report delivered to the funder. The study combined key informant interviews with population health executives and a membership-wide survey, weaving quantitative and qualitative evidence into a single narrative report on where the field stands and the path forward.

1. The full research report presented to the funder included synthesizing findings across every project phase, written as single narrative-driven document.
2. Custom visuals built from the survey data set, translating hundreds of responses into clear, funder-ready charts.
